THE MONSTER (HIRAGA CLASS A)
Was called monster because of the size of the PSU. The amp is pretty small actually and very popular. The parts could be bought for crazy money once upon a time but as production of the original transistors ceased, new models with other transistors appeared as did versions with higher power than the original 8W/channel.
The original amp, which never was powered up as well as the kit ordered from eBay were either scrapped or sold
